    The leadgen model is interesting but Jason is right. Websites are expensive to rank. Good content and backlinks are really expensive. One 5 page website of good content costs thousands of dollars. I enjoy SEO and web design but not writing content plus I'm not good at it so for me this is not a low entry business model. Luke sounds legit and I've debated joining his course bu the cost involved in building and ranking a leadgen site without knowing if you'll be able to rent it out puts me off. I have no problem investing in myself or my business but you have to have the money to begin with. I dont' like the way leadgen is sold as this low barrier to entry business model when it's anything but.

    • @JasonSherman76
      @JasonSherman76 2 месяца назад

      Great points! I did try to play devils advocate quite a bit in the interview, and really grilling Luke on how long it takes plus how much it costs to really do this right. He said 90 days with his course. I do agree with you, that there is a barrier to entry when it comes to the thousands of dollars needed to get it off the ground. To me it sounds like a way for someone who already makes a comfortable income to have a side passive income doing this if they have the time and the disposable income to give it a shot. I also agree with you that content and backlinks are expensive. Luke seems to have figured out a way to do all of this and is succeeding at it, so it must work in some ways. I'd be curious to hear success stories from people who took his course!

    I like the idea of a ship so large that weather can be generated and over multiple landscapes, arid, coastal, small sea, mountains, and tropical. If someone could have a homes still built, torn down, rebuilt. Large enough that farms can exist, enough raw materials that even the most high tech advancements could continue. Basically the planet, but extremely minimized. Where I disagree ENTIRELY is what he said about dating and procreation. Never in human history has anyone been successful in maintaining planned blood lines and preventing relationships unless you have a completely tyrannical system. If you take marriage, love, and romance away, the trip is pointless. You also need diverse political minds, otherwise you'll get tyranny real quick.

      The weather control sounds like a cool concept. I like the farm idea too. I remember in the movie "Passengers" at the end (spoiler alert), they had a bit of a farm situation going, and it seemed to be sustainable. As for the dating / procreation part, what I was referring to was in all actuality to avoid inbreeding more than antyhing else.

But by the SECOND generation, I can imagine a black market economy emerging where resources are acquired by some enterprising individuals and “bartered”, generating personal power for themselves…and maybe by the third generation the “administration” rank (pilots maybe) would determine that a market based economy and currency would be necessary to replace the criminal black market economy…
